Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
First and most importantly, I love what I do! I serve all couples as a nondenominational ordained minister to respect and value various faiths and beliefs. I am willing to do whatever it takes for your ceremony to reflect your secular, spiritual, and religious needs. I believe in having a genuine connection with my couple as I will be standing beside you on one of the most momentous days of your life. I am here to support you not only on your wedding day but all of the days leading up to your marriage. (And beyond) I am known as a professional wedding officiant with over 20 years of experience and the skills to handle any "crisis" that can occur on your wedding day. Rest assured- your wedding day is as important to me as it is to you. Having the honor of uniting my remarkable couples on such a beautiful occasion of their lives is truly an honor that brings me great joy. It is my pleasure to work with you to create a wedding ceremony that best reflects your love for each other and touches your heart.
Marriage is one of life's most profound and richest commitments. I am excited to hear your story, and as your professional ordained minister, I will work with you to create a meaningful, personalized ceremony precisely as you have envisioned. I believe being a wedding officiant is far more than simply being present for an elopement, a sweet ceremony, a destination wedding, a wedding of extravagance, a license signing, or a renewal of vows. I am committed to making your wedding ceremony one that will be the best of everlasting memories for you and for those you love.
No matter who we are, what we believe, where we come from, or where we are going, we know this one thing: love is what we're doing right. Here we're reminded that the ability to love is the very best part of our existence.
Let's reserve your wedding date! First things first, contact me to see if your date and time are available. From there, we can have a meeting or meetings in any form that best suits your needs. No obligation. Then, when you see we are a fantastic fit and want me to perform your wedding ceremony, you simply pay a retainer to hold my services and then pay the remaining amount anytime before you say,
"I do!"
Life, distance, and wedding planning keep us busy enough; please know I am happy to accommodate your needs with phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, or through media and texts.
Speaking of Dates. How about that Marriage License.
In North Carolina, the wedding couple must accompany each other to the County Clerk's Office, also called the Register of Deeds. In cases of extreme hardship when one applicant is UNABLE to appear (i.e., Military, confinement in a hospital, nursing home, or prison), the individual who is unable to appear in person must submit a sworn and notarized Affidavit in Lieu Personal Appearance. The party appearing at the Register of Deeds office will need to follow their normal requirements. When you apply for your marriage license, proof of identification and verification of a valid social security number are required. If ineligible for a Social Security Number, an affidavit must be completed. The marriage license fee is $60.00. The license is good immediately upon issuance and is valid for 60 days. Once married, the license must be returned to the Register of Deeds office within ten days of the ceremony. Persons need not be residents of North Carolina to get married in North Carolina. You may purchase your marriage license in any North Carolina county and use it in any North Carolina county. Please keep in mind when searching for your wedding officiant that the online quick ordination sites are not recognized in NC. Marriages may be performed by an ordained minister of any religious denomination, a minister authorized by a church, a magistrate, or a federally- or state-recognized Indian Nation or tribe. Make sure your marriage is legal and binding!
You will find me doing the things that make me happy in my free time! I am a beach girl at heart, and I've got all the wanderlust to travel (Weddings included, passport ready!) You're likely to find me loving on my foster dogs while we find their perfect fit for a furever home, always with the goal of tail up! Spending time with my husband of 15 years, my family, and my friends mean the world to me. I became a wedding officiant over 20 years ago when I became ordained through my church for people I hold near and dear to my heart. At the time, I was a career structural firefighter and loved my job. Long story short, and one spinal surgery later, I had to make a choice. It wasn't an easy one. I thought to myself, I have loved being such a beautiful part of people's lives. Let's see what happens! If only I had had a peek into what the world of weddings would become to me, the relationships I would build, I wouldn't have ever missed what I had thought was my calling. Surprise!
